Censorship in Blogger

On Monday, December 13, 2010 around by at 11:00 AM. my blogs Carlos in DC and Peruanista were deleted after I tried posting a video of the WikiLeaks anonymous activists. Both blogs were re-posted after 12 hours.

I won Blogger any longer. I transferred my blogs to carlosqc.wordpress.com and peruanista.wordpress.com while other projects are coming with the support I received from several friends. I will continue blogging and doing citizen journalism.

Thanks for the support from readers, colleagues and friends from the U.S., Mexico, Germany, Spain, Cuba, Venezuela, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Canada and Australia, through Facebook, Gmail, Twitter and via telephone.

This is the second time I have problems with Google. In July 2009, Youtube -also owned by Google- erased my channels CarlosQC and Peruanista. In both cases, there was no explanation of why my videos were deleted.

Censorship of independent media and the social protest in the United States is worsening, as the political and social situation of the country continues deteriorating, powerful groups are using more radical methods of control and espionage on people.

Thanks to Blogger for the opportunity and for everything I've learned since 2006 while using their services, but I have no confidence in you anymore. Thanks to the readers for your support and solidarity.

Knowledge is free.

  1. Lamento lo de la censura pero eso de que "The United States is no longer the country that I knew when I arrived here, it smells of rotting and decadence"... acaso cuando viniste todavía no habían lanzado la bomba atómica y no había pasado el macartismo?
¿qué gran diferencia encuentras con los gobiernos de EEUU actuales?

    saludos,

  2. ha ha ha! You're funny! You accuse Google and other shady organizations of censuring you, but you're one of the first to censor comments or any criticism on your own blog. Come on man get real. You probably violated one of their terms and didn't realize it. You know all that fine print you probably neglected read when you signed up and clicked the "I agree" box?? So adjust your tin foil hat and put the conspiracy theories aside.

p.s. I wonder if you'll even post this comment...
